Go Saints!

Volleyball sets off the school year on an impressive note!

The start of the school year has brought an incredible surge of excitement and talent to the Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family volleyball court. The energetic and dedicated team has burst onto the scene with an unmatched level of enthusiasm, and skill.
Under the skilled guidance of Coach Bowles, the team has been sharpening their skills and refining their teamwork since the pre-season. Fueled by their passion for the sport and determination to succeed, the players have shown remarkable growth and cohesion, resulting in electrifying matches. The addition of new players to the Varsity has really solidified the team.

But it's not just their skills that make this team stand out; their bond as a unit is undeniable. Their unwavering support for one another, both on and off the court, has created an unbreakable foundation of trust and camaraderie. This synergy has propelled them to new heights, enabling them to overcome challenges and endure demanding matches.
With their potent blend of talent, determination, and teamwork, this year's volleyball team has undoubtedly set the bar high for themselves and their competitors. As they continue their journey, we eagerly await the victories, growth in virtue, and exhilaration that they will undoubtedly bring to the court. The future is bright for our remarkable volleyball squad, and their triumphant start to the season promises even greater achievements yet to come.

Cross Country

In addition to striving for speed and endurance, the Cross Country Team has focused on character and integrity. Athletes were encouraged to take personal ownership of their training this season to achieve their very best come race day. Coaches Jacob Taylor and Alexandra Scherb are very proud of how their athletes have responded by adding extra reps to workouts and (literally) going the extra mile at practices.

Boys Golf

The boy’s golf team grew in size this year, as 13 participants joined the team! There were returning golfers who honed their skills throughout the fall and others who played golf for the first time ever! The main goals of the season were to grow not only in the technical skills of the game of golf, but to grow in character and perseverance as the men furthered their skills. This year's season also featured a new head coach in Coach Tom Langan, assisted by Sarah Paulson as the assistant coach.

The team was also given some new opportunities in competition, and the young men competed with perseverance throughout the season, winning many matches, while also suffering some losses. Through both results, the men continued to grow. The season culminated with the Conference tournament on Tuesday, September 26th, where the Saints took second place. We   look forward to continued growth in the boy's golf program for next season!

Boys Soccer

Saints soccer at Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family has become a force to be reckoned with. The team's commitment to excellence on and off the field has resulted in numerous victories and a growing reputation. Under the leadership of Coach Kibler, the players have displayed remarkable skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Saints have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, pushing themselves to improve and exceed expectations. Their dedication to their craft is reflected in their outstanding performances, which have earned them a place among the top teams in the region. As they continue to represent our school with pride and determination, Saints soccer has undoubtedly become a source of inspiration and admiration for the entire Chesterton community.
