Chaplaincy
Spiritual Life at Chesterton Academy
At Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family, the heart of our school is Christ. We are honored to have Father Andrew Buchanan serve as our chaplain. A dedicated priest of the Diocese of Joliet, Fr. Andrew is stationed at St. Mary Catholic Church in West Chicago and provides faithful pastoral care and sacramental support to our students, families, and employees.
Thanks to the support of Fr. Andrew and the Diocese of Joliet, our students are immersed in a rich spiritual life. Throughout the year, students participate in:
Daily Mass on campus in our gym
Eucharistic Adoration
Annual retreats
Formation classes
Regular opportunities for service and confession
From our early days celebrating daily Mass at Holy Trinity in Westmont to our current on-campus liturgies, we have been tremendously blessed by the presence of holy and faithful priests. In over 10 years, Chesterton Academy has never missed a single daily Mass—a testament to the devotion of the clergy who serve our school.
We are deeply grateful for every priest and religious who supports our mission, brings the sacraments to our students, and helps us form joyful saints.
