The big bank gala is tonight and that is all Mrs. Merck, the bank president’s wife, can think about. All her husband can think about is landing a new, rich customer. Meanwhile, all the chief of police can think about is why the bank has hired so many ex-cons! The chief, his two officers, and the bank guard have been working hard to protect the bank and all of the money in its safe, but despite their diligence, someone has robbed the bank! But who did it? Was it the notorious pickpocket, Carla “The Cleaner,” the cleaning lady; the infamous safecracker, Eddie “Lucky Fingers,” the locksmith; the con artist, Stevie “The Toy,” the party planner; or any of the other ex-cons working at the bank? The answer might be right under your nose, but don’t bank on it!
