Sisters in the Saddle!

For Chesterton sisters, Zoe ‘26 and Addison ’28, riding and showing American Saddlebreds isn’t just a competition—it’s a life lesson.

Zoe has been riding and showing American Saddlebreds since she was 6 years old. She competes with her 5-year-old gelding, Out of the Fire (aka Phoenix), who she’s proudly shown for the past two seasons. Addison started riding at age 7 and now shows her 11-year-old mare, Lady’s Supreme Gamble (aka Grace).

These sisters compete in the saddleseat discipline, which requires skill, precision, and partnership with their horses to achieve optimal performance in the show ring at various gaits—walk, trot, and canter. This incredible sport has taught them: Accountability, Responsibility, Perseverance, Patience, And above all, love for their horses! Although they ride year-round, their show season typically runs April through October, keeping them busy and passionate about their sport!

Let’s cheer on these amazing Chesterton riders as they continue to excel in and out of the show ring!
