Summer Supper Club

Alumni Parents, Current Parents, New Parents, Board Members & Employees

The House of Augustine hosts a Summer Supper Club Potluck BBQ for All Faculty & Staff and Current, Alumni, and New Parents of Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family students.

John and Cathy Severance (David ‘19, Sophia ‘20, Ava ‘25, Gianna ‘27) will be hosting the event at The Severance Family Ranch 7s695 Dugan Rd., Sugar Grove, IL.

Casual Dress Code - wear fun, bright summer clothing! We will be outside! Pack your chairs and small tables, and come ready to relax and socialize with the Chesterton Community!

·    Adults Only! (Breastfeeding babies are welcome)

·    Bring a dish to share. It should serve approximately eight people. We will need hors d'oeuvres, entrées, salads, vegetables, and desserts. List your item on the signup.

·    Please bring your potluck item in a disposable dish or be sure to take home your plate; there is nowhere to store left dishes.

·    We will not be supplying power or ice, so please use coolers or insulating dishes to keep your food safe.

·    Serving utensils – We will provide plates, napkins, and utensils, but not serving utensils.

·    Bring blankets and chairs – and small tables.

·    Attach a recipe card so that we know the ingredients (if the recipe is a secret, a simple list of ingredients will do!).

·    Please note: Marking vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-containing dishes will be helpful, but we cannot promise those with allergies will not come into contact with these things. These dishes are made in home kitchens, and the cook, the hosts, or the organizing committee will take no responsibility. Please use your best judgment.

·    House of Augustine Parents - sign up at the link below for a job to help the hosts; thank you.

This event is for Chesterton parents, alumni parents, board members, and employees; we respectfully ask you to refrain from bringing other guests to this event, but be sure to invite them to our drama productions, sporting events, and gala during the school year.
