Grand Raffle
Don’t miss out on the incredible raffle prizes we have this year. Tell your family, friends, coworkers, parish… tell everyone! This year's raffle will account for $80,000 of revenue for the gala, and so it is one of the most important activities that enables us to keep this school going strong and provide scholarships to students. If you need more raffle flyers to help you sell tickets, please download one from here and buy your raffle tickets here.

A note from Mrs. Karen Nawas, our auction committee chair:
Happy New Year and welcome back CATHF families,
We hope everyone had a lovely break and enjoyed their celebrations as well as travels of the holiday season. Thank you to all who have already contributed to our auction! If you haven’t yet contributed and would like to do so, please know that it's not too late to contribute!
There are items that we are still in need of and below you will find a wish list that we have compiled. We are asking for you to review the wish list and make some time this long weekend to procure some of the items below. Donation items can be brought to the front office along with the completed intake form. If you would like the introduction letter to businesses, you can find it here. Items need to be brought in ASAP so we can stay on track! If you have any questions or original ideas, please feel free to reach out to Karen Nawas at karen.nawas@gmail.com or gala@cathf.com.
In addition to the list below, you may have received a great Christmas gift that you just don't need. You are welcome to give it to the auction team and we may be able to find a place for those items. If you have any beautiful trays or baskets from Christmas that you do not want to store, we could repurpose them into a beautiful new auction basket.
Thank you!
Your Servants in Christ,
The 2022 Auction Committee

Parent Supper Club
Our first supper club of the spring semester is in just 2 weeks, on Saturday, January 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The evening will once again take place at Ss. Peter and Paul (36 N Ellsworth St, Naperville, IL 60540) in their social hall in the red brick building next to the church. The evening’s talk will feature Chesterton parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Lisa Beecher, as they walk us through creating a family mission statement and the benefits it will have. Please read a bit more about their talk here. Parents, get your new year off to a strong start by grounding your family in a shared mission!
Please save the date of Saturday, January 29, and we will be sending a formal RSVP soon. We are looking forward to a great night!
Open Mic Night
We’re looking forward to our annual school favorite, Open Mic Night! It will be our closing event for Holy Family Week on the evening of Friday, February 4.
Students, please prepare an act and let us know by this Wednesday, January 19, what you are planning on doing. We will have a sign-up posted outside of Frassati. Please come prepared! We are excited to see what you have planned for this year!
Families, the evening will begin at 4:15pm with a student rosary. At 4:30pm the doors will open to all families. We will have a brief Cultura Vitae talk immediately followed by dinner. Dinner will be a BYOE (bring your own everything) for all students and their families. The acts will begin shortly into dinner and the evening will end at 8 p.m. It’s one of the best nights of the year and you won’t want to miss out! We hope to see everyone there!
Uniform for the school day and the event: Chesterton spirit wear (hoodies/sweatshirts/t-shirts etc.) and jeans. As always, our out-of-uniform rules apply.
The Junior Play
We are so excited to watch our junior class perform the classic tale of Anne of Green Gables. We have a lively double cast who will bring this beloved classic to life. This play captures the charm and excitement of Lucy Maude Montgomery's enduring classic about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley, from her first encounter with her austere guardian to her thrilling graduation from Queen's Academy. You won’t want to miss it!
Calling All Artists
It’s time for another playbill contest! All the details are below. We cannot wait to see all your wonderful artwork!
