Cultura Vitae
Diocese of Joliet Pro-Life Procession
Benet Campus Ministry, along with Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Naperville, invites the entire Diocese of Joliet community to join in the procession in order to witness to the beauty of life and the Mystery and Power of the Eucharist in this "Procession for Life."
Bishop Hicks and Abbot Austin will be attending as well as two wonderful speakers, Dr. Linda Couri and Melissa Villalobos, who will share their miraculous stories of God's intervention and protection of life. Many Knights of Columbus Councils from local parishes are also participating and lending support. Please see this flyer for more information.
We strongly encourage our entire community to participate in this blessed day!
Chicago March for Life
The annual Chicago March for Life is coming up! It will look a little different this year, but it’s always important to stand for life. Find all the information here.
Holy Family Days
Every year we celebrate our namesake, The Holy Family, during the last week in January. This week consists of our Winter Field Day (on Wednesday), spirit wear and dress-up days, and festivities throughout the week. It will be a week to remember! If you need spirit wear, you can always purchase it from our online store hosted by Squad Locker.
High School Entrance Placement Test on Campus on Jan. 23
If you know of any families looking for the right high school for their student, we are pleased to announce that we are arranging a second sitting of the HSPT on campus next week on January 23.
Please feel free to pass on the following information to interested families: Students taking the test should arrive by 8:15 a.m., and the test promptly starts at 8:30 a.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted after the test starts. Pickup is at 11:45 a.m. Parents are welcome to come earlier but would have to wait for their student in their car. To reserve a spot for the upcoming HSPT, just contact our admissions team at admissions@cathf.com or call the school office at 630-442-1424 and speak with Ms. Emily Ambuul.
Gala Update
As the Christmas season is coming to a close and you go back to your day to day, we ask you to keep in mind the needs for our upcoming auction. We are asking each family to procure a donation by the February 1 deadline. Perhaps you received fine wine or liquor, a beautiful gift basket, or gift certificate that you would like to donate to the auction. There are so many ways to contribute a donation. If you have any empty Christmas gift baskets from the holiday season and would like to donate them, we would be happy to use them for our auction baskets. Please let Karen Nawas know and we will work with you on obtaining the basket.
Please see the list of items below of things we are looking for. Please contact Karen Nawas with any questions regarding donations or other ideas you may have. Turn in all items to the office with a completed intake form. Any alcohol donations may be coordinated with Julie Bowles as we cannot have those on campus. Many thanks for all your contributions!

Raffle Tickets: Major House Points Opportunity
And don’t forget to buy and sell your raffle tickets by clicking here (each family should try to sell a minimum of five, but you are all strongly encouraged to sell as many as possible to help the school flourish)! There are many new prizes, and we have just introduced a new raffle competition for the students: their house will receive one point for each raffle ticket they sell. We are selling up to 750 raffle tickets this year. This could really change the race for the White Horse Cup!
As you sell tickets, just remember to ask the person who bought it from you to put your name into the purchase form on the website linked above.
